Mission and Goals

National CAP Mission

The mission of the CAP Cadet Program is to provide the youth of our nation with a quality program that enhances their leadership skills through an interest in aviation, and simultaneously provide services to the United States Air Force and the local community.

Cadet Oath

I pledge that I will serve faithfully in the Civil Air Patrol cadet program,  and that I will attend meetings regularly, participate actively in unit  activities, obey my officers, wear my uniform properly, and advance my education and training rapidly to prepare myself to be of service to my community, state  and  nation. 

2017 Polaris Composite Squadron Cadet Goals 

(Established by Cadet Commander and Staff January 2017)

• Cadet Program Goals

• 10% increase of cadet population on eServices by end of 2017 (32).

• Squadron spirit improvements (squadron patch, shirts, ect.).

• 25% participation in quarterly community service night.

• Events participated and/or led by squadron goals

• To have an Airman Leadership School before 2017 Encampment.

• To have another Non-Commissioned Officer School.

• To have a camp out with long hike and other challenges involved.

• More Emergency Services training.

• More Orientation Flights.
